The Government must make a serious commitment to specialist Black and minoritised services in the Comprehensive Spending Review

Yesterday Imkaan submitted a letter signed by 33 of our Imkaan Member Services to the Government asking for a serious commitment to specialist Black and minoritised services in the Comprehensive Spending Review. Our cost analysis in the wake of the pandemic and two decades of defunding means that we need 97 million each year to keep our vital services open and supporting the 230,000+ women and children who access our members services each year. A drop in the ocean considering the 66 Billion that VAWG costs the UK each year.
