The Government must ‘level up’ the lives of Black and Minoritised Women.

Black and minoritised women’s employment has been stagnant for 30 years. Investing in specialist led by and for services creates more economic opportunities. A government committed to ‘levelling up’, must level up the lives of Black and minoritised women. For every £1 in grant income received by a specialist Black and minoritised women’s organisation, they invest £4 to the local economy. Black and minoritised women must be centred in the economic recovery. See our letter to the Government signed by 33 of our members asking for commitment to our work in the Comprehensive Spending Review.
