Centring the lived experiences of Black and Mixed-Race children and young Survivors

Looking forward to working with researcher Michaela Campbell who is centring her research around the lived experiences of Black and Mixed Race children and young survivors. We will be running a workshop in October for Imkaan members that will be the first in a series of workshops that focus on Black and minoritised children survivors. Black and minoritised Children and Young People are more likely to be removed from their mother/carers by the state and to be subject to a child protection system that is ill equipped to support their needs.
