Imkaan stand in solidarity with women and girls of Afghanistan

We stand in solidarity with the women and girls of Afghanistan and are reaching out via member services and specialist organisations. The UK Government continues to fail to meet its international obligations its exclusionary stance on migration and the Borders Bill putting women and girls lives at risk. This underlies a minimal commitment by the UK to support those displaced by decades of US-UK invasion-imperialism. The Home Office has only committed to supporting 5,000 refugees from Afghanistan, 5% of the commitment of other European countries such as Germany.
