Job Opportunity with Ashiana Network in London

Ashiana provides refuge and outreach services to South Asian, Turkish and Iranian women aged 16-30 who are experiencing domestic violence, forced marriages, and/or sexual violence.  Ashiana also provide a generic training, counselling and support services for adults and young people affected by domestic violence.

Office Manager (female)

Salary: £20,198 + Outer London Weighting (35 hours per week)

As an office manager your primary task is to ensure Ashiana runs smoothly by supervising office processes and administrative systems. You will have experience of reception and administrative work, as well as office systems and the ability to use IT software including email, spreadsheets and databases. You will be responsible for the recruitment and supervision of volunteers and trainee placements, and carry out any other duties commensurate with the objectives of the post as requested. You are required to have an understanding of violence against women and girls.

You will have the ability to provide an empathetic, supportive, enabling and informative response to services users, referral agencies and practitioners.
